The 3 ECTS credits are acquired by completing the form and attaching the required certification.
(certificate or attestation issued by the providing institution – in the case of workshops, seminars, and design studios coordinated by the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programmes in the Design section and by the coordinating lecturer, certifying at least 75 hours of learning activity and signed by the supervisor, computer skills):
Facsimile attestato
NOTE:
> 1 ECTS = 25 hours of workshop
> 1/5 ECTS = 1 single conference (e.g. 5 conferences = 1 ECTS)
> Appendix 1 and the certificates for the recognition of ECTS credits may be submitted when the student has obtained all 3 ECTS credits.
The Master’s Degree Programme Council has decided that all internship credits may be recognised exclusively through university workshops.
Students are therefore required to submit a single recognition request for these workshop activities, submitting ALL certificates they have obtained only once.
All certificates, together with the Appendix (1.C) for the request for recognition of all ECTS credits through workshops/conferences, must be sent as a single PDF file by email to the Academic Office at the following address: segr@design.unifi.it
NOTE: Incomplete applications or applications submitted at different times will NOT be considered.
The internship may be recognised as equivalent to work activity by completing Appendix 2 together with a descriptive report of the activity carried out, demonstrating its relevance to the learning outcomes of the Degree Programme.
Full internship:
> 225 hours / 9 ECTS (new curriculum)
> 300 hours / 12 ECTS (old curriculum)
Partial internship:
> 150 hours / 6 ECTS + 3 ECTS “other activities” (new curriculum)
> 225 hours / 9 ECTS + 3 ECTS “other activities” (old curriculum)
For the evaluation of work activity, send an email to the Academic Office (segr@design.unifi.it) with the subject “EQUIVALENCE”, attaching the WORK ACTIVITY REPORT (see documents) in PDF format, signed and stamped by the employer.
The response will be sent within 30 days.
In case of approval, submit l'ALLEGATO 2 (Original version – including revenue stamp) at the Design Campus reception (Via Sandro Pertini 93, Calenzano – FI), together with:
IMPORTANT:
> The work activity must be consistent with the study programme and equivalent to a curricular internship. During the activity, the applicant must have been supervised by a qualified professional, acting as a company tutor equivalent.
> It is not possible to recognise an internship more than once, i.e. if it has already been used for other degree programmes. For this reason, students must submit a self-declaration stating that the internship for which recognition is requested has not already been used for recognition in other study programmes or at other universities
NOTE:
The Degree Programme will NOT consider:
The Teaching Committee will issue an opinion within 30 days from the submission of COMPLETE documentation, and applicants will be contacted ONLY in the case of an incomplete application or a negative decision.
The School of Architecture and the Degree Programme have established that:
